Homer Hickam, Jr. has his first birthday.  [Even as early as 1944, people were misspelling 'Hickam!'  When Linda Hickam saw the clipping she e-mailed us: "Actually, Elsie had spelled his nickname 'SUNNY' (because he was the light of her life).  His first grade teacher fixed it to 'Sonny.'   So both names in the article are wrong!"]
